Adult Fellowship
Every first Wednesday of a month, we offer an evening of fellowship for church members and friends in the Family Life Center, at  6 p.m. Bring your joys and sorrows, a covered dish and any friends who would enjoy special entertainment and different seasonal themes, as well as great food in good Christian company!

Adult Sunday School
Come and expand your Bible knowledge, strengthen your faith, and enrich your life !
All adults are welcome and encouraged to join our Adult Bible Study and Discussion Groups.

Adult 1 meets every Sunday from September to May from 9:45 to 10:45 in Room 209 next to the north parking lot entrance. Topics vary. They will be starting a new study on September 11th: Jesus. Man, Messiah, or More. This is a 16-part DVD-based series with Mart De Haan and the Institute for Biblical Research Jesus Study Group. Each DVD presentation will be followed by in-class discussion.

Adult 2 meets every Sunday morning from September to May from 9:45 to 10:45 in room 101 by the ‘coffee pot’. Topics vary. They will be starting the year with the study Invitation to Romans published by Abingdon Press.

11:00 Adult Sunday School class meets meets every Sunday from September through May in Room 101 by the ‘coffee pot’.

Adult Hand Bell Choir Come find out how much fun and beauty this special music has for you. We practice every Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. (summer break).  Director Brad Whitenight.

Book Discussion Club
Read the book of the month and meet every fourth Wednesday at 7 PM at church to discuss it with fellow readers.

Bring Your Own (BYO) Bible Study
Meets Mondays from September through the middle of November and again from January to the end of April from 7:15 PM to 8:45 PM in Room 225. Leader is Jack Freidel. We will be starting a new study in September, 2017, Adam Hamilton’s Making Sense of the Bible.

Cancer Support Group
There is support for anyone concerned with or affected by cancer here at Wyoming Church! Call the church office to meet cancer survivors and families affected by the illness.

Chancel Choir
Directed by Brad Whitenight, we minister through music in the 11:00 Traditional Worship Service each Sunday from September through mid-June. Incorporating a wide variety of styles from classical and gospel to contemporary Christian, we rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 8:30 PM. New members always welcome!

CIA Couples In Action
Couples and families with children of all ages – join different games and fun activities every third Sunday – watch for time in Sunday’s bulletin.

Disciple 1 will be meeting on Tuesday evenings beginning in September. This 34 week series takes you through the Bible from start to finish covering about 80% of the Bible by the time the study is finished. Pastor Rick will be leading this study. The session last about 2 hours. There will also possibly be a daytime session. Watch for times and meeting rooms.

Early Bird Exercise
Meet every Monday and Thursday morning at 8 o’clock sharp to a low impact, 2 mile walking exercise that lasts only 30 minutes,  followed by a brief cool-down period of stretching. We end our time with a short devotion and prayer time.

Friday Morning Prayer Group
Prayer, study, encouragement, and fellowship are all a part of this longstanding group with an open invitation in each week’s bulletin. All are welcome !  9:00 a.m.

Junior & Senior High MYF
Our Junior and Senior High School Youth organizing and experiencing many exciting events throughout the year: mission trips, special youth worship services, hayrides, video nights … announced in Sunday’s bulletin.
Youth Ministries Information

Kids Praise! Children all ages meet in the Family Life Center on Sunday morning from September through May at 9:40 for 20 minutes of worship. Once a month the group will sing in all three Sunday worship services.

Knitting to Nurture
Beginning and experienced knitters meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 10:30-12:30.  The primary purpose is to knit “prayer shawls” that are given to members of our church and community as tangible evidence of our prayers and caring for them.  We also have other projects that touch the lives of those in need at the local, national and international level.  Join us to fellowship, pray and bless others with the work of our hands.

Ladies Bible Study meets the first and third Wednesday of each month from September to May from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. The group uses the weekly Upper Room lesson for study and discussion.

Old-to-New Cardmakers
Recycling old all-occasion and special-occasion cards to be given to sell for the Mortgage Reduction.

Pearls on Pages meets on Tuesday mornings from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm in room 209. In this study Kim Bryan takes you through various Bible passages sharing nuggets of wisdom that have been revealed to her.

Praise Band
Bring your musical talents and join us as we make a joyful noise every Sunday at the
Worship & Praise Service! Practices on Wednesdays 7 to 8 p.m.

Special Music

Soup Day Team
Soup Day is scheduled for every second Wednesday in the months of October, November, January, February, and March. The group prepares the soup and sets up the Family Life Center on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. This is a mission ministry, and we only charge  $ 4.00 for the meal. All proceeds are donated for various charities, including the two homeless shelters in the area. We also take a pot of soup to each shelter and quarts of soup to our shut-ins.

Team TLC
Our group helps members of our church family who are going through a difficult time in their lives, after hospitalization perhaps or the loss of a loved one by taking home-cooked soup and bread to their home.

Visitation Ministry
We offer ministry to the members of our congregation who are physically removed so that they feel spiritually connected with the Body  of Christ. Hospital/home visits, communion, church service tapes, transportation, etc.

Wednesday Morning Ladies Bible Study
Ladies meet between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. every 1st and 3rd Wednesday for a time of sharing and Bible study about how a particular scripture has affected their lives. We also use the 5th Wednesday for a special social outing : day trips, lunch out, special events, shows, etc. to be announced in  our Sunday bulletin.
